Over 100 bags. Hundreds of essentials. Countless reminders that our moms are not alone 💌
We are incredibly grateful to , and for their generosity and heart for families across our community.
As part of a national conference they hosted right here in Aggieland, attendees from across the country came together to support families in a tangible way. They assembled and donated care bags filled with essential items, including wipes, blankets, baby toiletries, handwritten notes of encouragement, tea, notepads, and more.
In addition to the baby care bags, they also provided adult care bags and an entire tub of extra supplies that will help keep our Cottage stocked for clients in need.
One of the most special parts of this project was the handwritten notes included in each bag. These messages of encouragement will remind our moms that they are seen, valued and supported by a community that cares.
The group also toured our facility, met with staff members and our Executive Director, and learned more about the mission of APO.
As if that wasn’t enough, they raised additional funds through their conference fundraiser!
