***First fire for the newest member of the crew***

This afternoon, at 1237 hrs, TK812 was dispatched for the structure fire as the 2nd truck company. Probationary Firefighter Dalton Simpson was assigned to suppression today and was able to run the first fire of his career with Prince George's County.

Despite the heat index above 100 degrees, TK812 deployed multiple ground ladders to the garden apartment balconies and windows, deployed the aerial ladder to the roof, and provided a roof report to command.

Great teamwork and communication between the 3 career and 1 volunteer members were demonstrated to achieve the tactical benchmarks.

The crew from TK812 is currently transferred to Station 832 Allentown Rd with Professional Fire Fighters of Station 805 providing coverage for the 5th and surrounding battalions. There were 3 working fires in the county this afternoon draining resources throughout. Serving beyond College Park today.
