A poll by the National Restaurant Association found that 70% of Americans favor raising the minimum wage even if it also increases the cost of service. Corporate executives are making millions while workers are struggling to make ends meet. Raising the minimum wage improve people’s standard-of-living by providing them with the income they need to live happy and health lives!

The restaurant industry's own internal survey found huge support for raising the minimum wage, even if it meant a higher check.

A new analysis of all Fortune 500 companies found only 4.3% of workers will benefit from the tax cut. Corporations are getting 9 times as much in tax cuts as they are giving to workers in one-time bonuses and in wage hikes, and corporations are spending 39 times as much on stock buybacks as they are spending on workers’ bonuses and wages

After it was revealed that university employees were misappropriating money that was supposed to be spent on financial aid, the students at Howard staged a protest pushing for transparency, affordable housing, sexual assault reforms, disarming the police, and a host of other progressive issues.

Yesterday, the students at Howard finished their 9-day occupation of the administration building, after the Board of Trustees committed to addressing the students' concerns.

This successful protest is the latest in a long legacy of demonstrations at Howard University. Thank you to all of the students at Howard for fighting for progressive reforms and for showing us all the power that students wield!

Baby boomers protested in 1968, Generation X did it in 1989 and millennials and Generation Z did a nine-day sit-in for changes at Howard University.

This week, Republicans and centrist Democrats joined together to weaken Dodd-Frank and empower the same large financial institutions that caused the financial crisis. If you want to know why the American people have so much contempt for what goes on in Congress it is because time after time after time, the Republican leadership in Congress is doing the exact opposite of what the American people want and the Democrats are not united in opposition.

Broad bipartisan support, and internal Democratic divisions, for a rollback of Dodd-Frank.

It’s been five days since a Washington Post report detailed the stories of four women who allege that Republican nominee Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with them when they were between the ages of 14 and 18 years old and Moore was in his 30s.

Roy Moore has taken a hit in the polls since allegations surfaced that he sexually assaulted a young teenage girl. Roy Moore and Doug Jones are now tied in the most recent poll for the open Alabama senate seat.

Embattled Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore is tied with Democrat Doug Jones in a new poll on Friday, one day after accusations surfaced that Moore had inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl decades ago.

The upcoming Alabama Senate special election features Democrat Doug Jones, a former US attorney, and Republican Roy Moore, a twice-expelled Alabama Supreme Court Justice. Today, three women came forward accusing Roy Moore of trying to sexually assault them when they were under sixteen. One woman alleges that he actually managed to sexually assault her when she was fourteen. Roy Moore was thirty two when this happened.

The differences in this race could not be more clear. Doug Jones prosecuted the K*K for the Birmingham City Bombing and is running for senate on a platform of expanding healthcare, protecting the right to choose, raising the minimum wage, and fighting climate change. Roy Moore was kicked off the Supreme Court twice for violating the Constitution, has made multiple bigoted remarks regarding people of color, and is now accused of being a sexual assailant.

On November 20th, Our Revolution is hosting a phonebank to elect Doug Jones and make sure the neo-Confederate Roy Moore never sees the inside of the U.S. Senate. RSVP to fight against hatred, bigotry, and corrupt conservativsm below:

Alabama resident Leigh Corfman said that in 1979, when Moore was an assistant district attorney, he brought her to his home and touched her sexually. Three other women said that Moore – now a candidate for U.S. Senate -- pursued them when they were teenagers and he was in his early 30s.
