City of College Park Animal Control The City of College Park, Maryland's Animal Control Officer (ACO) enforces both City and County animal laws.

The ACO’s goal is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the City’s residents and animals. The ACO is on duty and patrols the City to meet variable seasonal and weekly needs. If you need animal control assistance, please call 240-375-3165 or email [email protected]. Additional City information can be found at www.collegeparkmd.gov. Please be aware that every response and submission to this account/page may be considered a public record and will be posted for as long as the site’s host will allow for such an item to remain posted. If any submission is removed by the City for reasons such as the use of profanity or other inappropriate content, please be advised that all such removed submissions will be stored by the City offline.

Zander is a 5-month-old kitten who came to College Park Animal Control as a stray. He's an absolutely adorable and sweet kitten, with -just- the right amount of playfulness without being too excitable. Zander would be ok in a home with other cats, but we think he'd do best with another young cat in the home to play with. Zander is Neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FLV neg, and Microchipped. Say hello to Moe!

Moe is an affectionate, Black & white boy that was found as a stray in College Park. He was reported as "too sweet to be an outdoor cat" and as he was brought into the shelter it was quite clear this was an accurate description. Moe is calm and mostly wants to relax and be petted. He came in with a flea allergy dermatitis on his face- which has since cleared up but his hair is still growing in. We still think he's a very handsome boy! Moe seems to be tolerant of other cats.

He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV&FLV negative, and ready to be adopted!

College Park is currently participating in Maryland 3000, and we're waiving all adoption fees in the month of August.

¡Saluda a Moe!

Moe es un gato cariñoso, de pelaje blanco y negro, que fue encontrado vagando por las calles de College Park. Lo describieron como "demasiado dulce para ser un gato callejero" y, al llegar al refugio, quedó claro que era una descripción muy acertada. Moe es tranquilo; lo que más desea es relajarse y recibir caricias. Llegó con dermatitis alérgica por picadura de pulgas en la cara; aunque ya se ha curado, su pelaje aún está volviendo a crecer. ¡Nosotros seguimos pensando que es un gato muy guapo! Moe parece llevarse bien con otros gatos.

Está castrado, vacunado, tiene microchip, dio negativo en FIV y FeLV, ¡y está listo para ser adoptado!

College Park participa actualmente en la iniciativa "Maryland 3000", por lo que no cobraremos tasas de adopción durante el mes de agosto.

Summer blues? Too hot to even consider stepping outside? Well look no further, we have just the entertainment for anyone looking to cut down on screen time and increase fluffy cuddle time. Our 6 little shadows, and other kittens, are looking for a loving foster homes until they are ready for adoption!
