Our awesome Adult Summer Reading Program kicks off today, folks.

Start at the 1st Chapter of Life card! Complete the book, then come back in to roll the dice, and get ready to play the Reading Game of Life.

*At each event card, you will stop and choose one of the three challenge cards!

*Bonus spaces have the task on the game space.

*Life event spaces have many card options to pick from!

Swing by today to sign up, snag your reading log, and Ms. Tara will hook you up with a game piece tomorrow.

Exciting news! Due to unforeseen circumstances, our June 17th Summer Reading Program has been rescheduled to July 2nd from 10-12pm, giving you even more time to dive into great books! In the meantime, you can still kick-start your reading journey by stopping into the library to grab a BINGO card. Simply complete a row of 5, whether diagonal, side to side, or up and down, and bring it back the following Wednesday to earn 2 seeds for our large prize drawings! *Picture of the prizes are attached to this post!

The cold virus hit our home. I have a limited voice. My voice back up (my daughter) now has a fever and terrible sore throat. So we have to cancel Tiny Tots and Toddler time tomorrow.

Wednesday Summer Reading Update:
Due to the inconsistency of my voice. I am going to postpone this Summer Reading Program to the first week of July. We will now have a Reading Program on July 2nd! However, I will be posting a way you can earn some seeds this week!

The Colesburg Library is excited to introduce our Adult Summer Reading Program, 'A Game of Life!' We're challenging you to grow your reading game from June 16th through August 31st. As you progress through the game, you'll navigate various life stages, including Education, Career, Relationships, Adventures, Family & Friends, Giving Back, and Retirement! At each life event, you'll choose from three cards, each presenting an engaging reading challenge. Bonus spaces and life event spaces will also feature exciting challenges that'll keep you on your toes. By reaching milestones of five, ten, and fifteen books, you'll be entered into drawings for three prize levels, empowering you to unlock your full reading potential, make a lasting impact on your life, and basically become a reading rockstar.
