Join us tomorrow, May 15, at 10am! Walking Club for introverts!! Starting at the gazebo in town we will walk on the rail trail for about 30 minutes, then turn around, and stop where we started. As we walk, everyone will listen to their own audiobooks, and we will briefly discuss what we are listening to at the end. A great way to get active as the weather gets nicer, and finish those books you have been dying to read, but haven't had the time to finish.

Want to sign up for this club? Use this link!: https://www.colemanlibrary.org/2026-05-15-footnotes-walking-club

This event is free and open to the public.
Recommended for all ages.

Little Librarian Job Applications now available by the front desk! Pick one up and fill it out to possibly be the first Little Librarian of the summer! πŸ“š

Little Librarians pick out books to be displayed for 1 week during the summer. Books can be on a certain topic, their favorite books, or just random books they see! We will randomly draw 1 application a week. If you are picked to be our Little Librarian of the week we will reach out to you by email or phone to let you know the Wednesday before your week starts. This will give you 3 full days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) to pick out 6 or 7 books to display that will be available for checkout. Each Little Librarian will have their picture taken with their displayed books, and will fill out a short fact sheet about themselves, for other kids to see.

Little Librarians should be old enough to write their own name, answer questions, and they or their parents should have a valid Coleman Area Library card. Anyone over 16 is not eligible to be a Little Librarian (you are Big Librarian age now).
