NASBLA Approved – Valid Nationwide!
This course is recognized by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). Upon successful completion, your boating safety certificate is accepted in all states that recognize NASBLA-approved boating education courses.
Who Needs a Boater Safety Certificate?
🚤 Motorboat Operators
Anyone born on or after July 1, 1996, must have a Boater Safety Certificate to operate a motorboat with a motor greater than 6 horsepower.
🌊 Personal Watercraft (Jet Ski) Operators
Anyone born after December 31, 1978, must have a Boater Safety Certificate to operate a Personal Watercraft (PWC).
👨👩👧👦 Young Operators
• Children under 12 years old may only operate boats with 6 horsepower or less unless specific supervision and certification requirements are met.
• No person under 14 years of age may legally operate a Personal Watercraft (Jet Ski).
• Recommended age for this class is 12 years and older.
Whether you're new to boating or have years of experience, this course provides valuable information on boating laws, navigation rules, emergency preparedness, and safe boating practices.
