Getting Ahead in a Just Getting By World: is a community-based workshop series designed to help individuals stabilize their lives and build personal resources to move out of poverty.
Key Topics and Modules:
Self-Assessment: Evaluating individual resources across financial, emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, and social categories.
Hidden Rules: Examining the unwritten rules of economic classes (poverty, middle class, and wealth).
Future Stories: Guiding investigators to design a personal plan and write a new life story moving from surviving to thriving.
Our current class runs Sept 17-Nov 19th and will be held at the CAC building on Michigan Ave in Coldwater
Registration is FREE, dinner is provided for each session, and childcare if needed
