Burn Ban in effect for San Jacinto County.

City of Coldspring has extended the burn ban inside the city limits.

Heads up Coldspring and Shepherd folks, 8/22/26:

Trident Pipeline personnel reached out and advised that they will be pressure testing new sections of the pipeline. There will be loud releases of air and possibly vibrations in the ground. These are expected to happen sometime between Sunday and Monday morning. The locations are FM 1514 area and FM 1127 area.

🔥 SAN JACINTO COUNTY BURN BAN NOW IN EFFECT 🔥

The San Jacinto County Office of Emergency Management has announced that San Jacinto County is under a burn ban effective immediately. The order prohibits outdoor burning.

Please help us protect our community, homes, property, and first responders by following the burn ban and avoiding any prohibited outdoor burning.

🔥 Please do not take unnecessary chances. One spark can become a wildfire. Stay informed and help us keep San Jacinto County safe.

The Coldspring VFD’s Annual Fire Fest is a little over TWO MONTHS AWAY, and our spooky little elves (also known as firefighters 😂🔥) are already hard at work getting everything ready!

We are currently seeking donations for our Silent Auction! 🕸️🎟️

Have a business or a generous soul with something to donate? We welcome anything and everything! Gift baskets, merchandise, gift cards, services, experiences, tickets, homemade goodies, or anything else you think our Fire Fest crowd would enjoy!

💧 Keeping our crew fueled and hydrated! 💧🚒

A huge THANK YOU to DripDrop and National Volunteer Fire Council for donating electrolyte powder packets to our department! These have quickly become a favorite around the station and are especially appreciated during long fire scenes, training days, calls in the Texas heat, and all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our department running. 🔥🧯

Hydration is a big part of keeping our firefighters safe and ready to go, and having DripDrop on hand makes it easy to replenish and keep moving when the job doesn’t stop. We’re incredibly grateful for your support of our firefighters and our community! ❤️‍🔥
