ely with all involved. A major goal of the DTC is the preservation and promotion of the whole community and it is vital in everything we do; this makes us one. We understand that the role of government is to maintain fiscal soundness in the delivery of services with accountability to the public at large, which includes a safety net for all citizens. Together, we are working to establish a town that speaks directly and honestly to its constituents, believing that the ethics of public service rises above that of self-interest or politics. The Colchester Democratic Town Committee is committed to the principles of our Town Charter, our Code of Ethics, and pledges that as a political entity it will consistently strive to achieve the goals set forth by its citizens.
