It is with great sadness we announce the passing of past Chief Rob Brown. He was a long time member of the Colchester Fire Department; a member of the Salem Fire Department; a pillar of the community; and an all around great guy.

We will try to post arrangements as they become available.

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of KX dispatcher Steven Cowles (E-703). He served from 1981 until the end. In addition, he was an Auxiliary State Trooper (KX-16); A Glastonbury Fire Captain (Car 10); and an avid radio buff, (403) who was responsible for maintaining a commercial UHF repeater on 460.550Mhz known to its users as "The Disney Channel". Services are unknown at this time.
