Congratulations to Mr. Lewis Headrick who received a quilt of valor on Saturday at Cohutta Celebrates America 250 Town Fair. It was presented to him by the local Quilt of Valor group. At 99 years of age, Mr. Lewis is cohutta’s oldest living veteran and is a veteran of WWII.

Attention parade participants!!

We are making a small change on where to line up.

Please note!!

Bands and walking groups will stage to the LEFT of the elementary school facing the school from the road. Park your busses and trailer behind the school.

Parents and anyone arriving by car to participate in the parade need to park on the ball fields.

Parade floats, classic cars, and tractors will stage to the RIGHT of the school (facing the school from the road).

WE WILL NOT USE MT OLIVET ROAD OR WOLFE STREET TO LINE UP ANYONE UNLESS WE RUN OUT OF SPACE.

The deadline to sign up for the Miss Cohutta Pageant is rapidly approaching! The pageant will be held on the day of The Cohutta Town Fair from 8:00-10:00 on May 2nd! Participants will be eligible to ride in the parade at 11!

Here's the link to sign up! If we don't have enough to participate we will have to cancel the pageant.
