Summer should be more than sitting inside all day.

This year, Connect Center for Youth’s Summer of S.T.E.A.M. is bringing students six weeks of creativity, hands-on learning, and real experiences they’ll remember long after summer ends.

From Game Design and Robotics to Baking, SMART Art, Gardening, and Shark Tank challenges, students will have the opportunity to build, create, explore, and connect in a fun and engaging environment.

This 6-week hands-on program gives students the opportunity to explore creativity, technology, teamwork, and real-world skills in a fun and supportive environment at the Connect Center.

We’re looking ahead to one of the best days of the year.

Tacos for Life is back on September 26, and if you’ve been before, you know what this looks like. Good food, full plates, people laughing, and a space where the whole community shows up.

This is what it looked like at the Connect Center this week.

Couch White came in, got right to work, and helped bag groceries in under an hour. Before they left, they also purchased all of the remaining paintings for $300.

That kind of support matters. It helps us keep showing up for families and keep our programs moving.

We’re grateful for teams like Couch White for spending time with us and supporting the work in a real way.
