Please be advised that Columbia Street will be CLOSED for paving from Baker Ave to Simmons Ave Monday, June 15th - Friday, June 19th, 2026. Local traffic only.

Expect long delays, seek alternate routes if possible. Traffic detour will be Baker Ave to Vliet Blvd or Manor Ave.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone and honor an outstanding public servant. Congratulations to Kathy Oliver on her retirement after 30 years of dedicated service with the Cohoes Housing Authority.

Her leadership, dedication, and compassion have earned the respect of residents, colleagues, board members, and community partners alike. Thank you, Kathy, for three decades of service and for the lasting impact you've made on the City of Cohoes.

2026 Sport Academy registration is now open!

Summer Sports Academy will begin on Monday June 29th at Lansing Park. This is a FREE instructional sports clinic for Cohoes children ages 7-12 years old, Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-11:45am. All children MUST participate in activities. Electronic devices (cell phones, iPads, etc..) are prohibited.
