Rotary Club of Cohasset We provide charitable services locally and globally in partnership with Rotary International.

Our major fundraisers include: Cohasset Road Race by the Sea 10K and the Rotary telephone book. Every year we proudly support our community thru Special Olympics, Food Pantry, Historical Society, Art Center and more; the students thru funding programs and college scholarships; in the US with Appalachia Service project, and internationally support medical and peace projects such as eradicating Pol

Today we celebrate 50 years of Cohasset’s longest running tradition- the In loving memory of Rotarian Wayne Sawchuk, center, who was the engine behind the race for 50 years.

Online registration has closed, but you can still signup in person from 9 am - 12:30 at the community center (3 North Main St.)

Cohasset’s Rotary Club and our annual Road Race by the Sea team are deeply saddened by the passing of our 50-year Rotarian and bedrock of the Cohasset community, Wayne Sawchuk.

As was repeatedly mentioned this weekend at an overflowing Congregational church memorial, Wayne encapsulated the essence of generosity, good humor and goodwill.

From traveling abroad to bring clean water to local villages in the Dominican, to being the quiet force behind the annual road race - and improving the infrastructure of the town he so loved, we will forever embrace and hold near to our hearts this humble, good-natured and selfless gentle giant of a man.

Rest in peace our dear friend. Our lives and the Town of Cohasset were blessed to walk alongside you.

Cohasset Road Race by the Sea this Sunday!

Our volunteers are committed to minimizing the impact of the race on Cohasset residents, churches and businesses and we have been working closely with public safety on race planning to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for participants and the community.

There will be limited parking in the Village on Sunday, with police details and volunteer traffic guards throughout the course shown here.

The walk to benefit Safe Harbor Cohasset Coalition begins at 10 am and the race at 1 pm.
