Hard to leave such wonderful staff who threw a nice going away luncheon at the office. Mexican food catered. Mmm good. They know me well! Gonna' miss this crew, this place and The Mission!

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Larry Riley, our Executive Director, who has been our leader and advocate for St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho. Over the past 5 years, Larry has worked tirelessly to further our mission, strengthening community partnerships and providing services for those in need.
We are immensely grateful for Larry's dedication, passion, and vision. Though he will be greatly missed, we wish him the best in all future endeavors!

An amazing feat when ya’ think about it! What a simple box truck can do! She served us well…

When your title says "exempt" for mileage, you know you're old, yet for the record, this circa 1991 box truck was very loyal to St. Vinny's over 33-years! We used to call her C6. Now we call her a loyal steed that served us well. Too much going on to save her, so off to the salvage yard today.

The good news? We're working with a local auto dealer to see what they can do to arrange replacements, so we're putting our very limited resources to good use and where it counts the most — moving products around for the betterment of many needy folks in Kootenai.

There are flashy alternatives to how we allocate your hard spent dollars, but that's not us, so stay tuned as we hope to showcase a shiny new-to-us replacement rig sometime soon?

And here's a phenomenal stat for ya? For 33 years, this truck moved at least 2 loads a week. That's 3,432 loads. So, let's say each load was worth at least 1000 bucks, that'd mean C6 transported at least $3,432,000 worth of goods over her useful life.

And you wonder what St. Vinny's can do with your support? How 'bout take a $50K truck and turn it into over $3M in social services support!

Kootenai Electric coming through with a nice surprise!

Thank you Kootenai Electric Cooperative and all of our community members that participate in Operation Round Up! Trinity Group Homes received $2,500 yesterday which will go a long way in helping resident’s quality of life. They are planting their gardens as we speak!

For my INW peeps, if ya' know of a used forklift willing to find a new home, give me a holler. Thx!

St. Vinny’s needs a lift! A forklift, that is 🙂.

For those of you who have lent-a-hand at our sorting warehouse over the last few decades, you’ll remember this trusty steed galloping around the warehouse and hugging the curb along Walnut Ave making deliveries to the store.

Well, our circa 1970s workhorse is ready for pasture. So, if you have any connections or know of a used lift we’re willing to purchase, hit us up.

Nothing moves at the warehouse without this 💪🏻.

Thanks!
