We’re proud to work alongside SAMHSA to share this Communities Talk highlighting how prevention‑focused, technology‑enabled care can strengthen rural communities.
Idaho Medicaid has emphasized that expanding technology‑enabled care—including digital health tools, telehealth, and innovative support models—is critical to improving access in rural areas, supporting early prevention, and addressing needs sooner before they escalate into emergency care.
That’s exactly the work behind North Thread: combining high‑tech tools with real, certified human support to reach young adults in North Idaho early, reduce barriers to care, and help prevent avoidable ER visits and long‑term complications.
When communities have access to support before crisis hits, outcomes improve—for individuals, families, and the healthcare system as a whole.
