Beginning September 14, streets in the area of the Paul Stock Aquatic & Recreation Center, and the Cody Auditorium will be closed or have restricted access for approximately two weeks while the City completes work on its treated water system.

โ€ฃ Taggart Hill (from Alger Avenue south to the church entrance) will be closed to all traffic
โ€ฃ The intersection of 13th Street and Alger Avenue will be closed to all traffic

Traffic will be restricted to local (residential and business) access in the following areas:
โ€ฃ Alger Avenue between 12th Street and 13th Street
โ€ฃ Alger Avenue between 13th Street and 14th Street
โ€ฃ 13th Street between Alger Avenue and Beck Avenue
โ€ฃ Heart Mountain Street between Stampede Avenue and Horseshoe Drive

Beginning Wednesday, September 9, motorists should expect traffic impacts on ๐๐ข๐  ๐‡๐จ๐ซ๐ง ๐€๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ฎ๐ž ๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐…๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ญ due to the installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon crossing.

Big Horn Avenue will remain open to traffic throughout construction; however, motorists may experience delays and single-lane traffic while crews are working in the area. Construction is expected to be complete by Friday, October 9.

Please plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and use caution when traveling through this area. Thank you for your cooperation while this project is being completed!

The City of Cody is aware of a treated water line break near the intersection of Sheridan Avenue and 24th Street. ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐๐š๐ง ๐€๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ฎ๐ž ๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐œ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐ญ๐ก ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—๐ญ๐ก ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ญ.

Southfork Avenue hill will reopen to traffic this weekend before closing again from Tuesday, September 8 at 4PM through Thursday, September 10. This closure is necessary to allow the contractor to complete paving work and provide adequate time for the roadway to cool before reopening.
