🏔️ One of the most beautiful drives in America is right up the road from us.

The Beartooth Highway climbs to nearly 11,000 feet, with alpine lakes, snow drifts in the middle of summer, and views that stretch for miles. It's officially designated an All American Road, and once you see it, you'll understand why.

Here's the best part. You can turn it into a full day adventure right from Old Faithful RV Park. Head north through Cody, catch the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway, climb the Beartooth Highway to the summit, then loop back through Yellowstone's Northeast Entrance, Lamar Valley, and Mount Washburn before heading out the East Entrance toward home.

🦂 Did you know Wyoming has glow-in-the-dark scorpions?

The Bighorn Basin, right here around Cody, is one of the best spots in the state to find them. They come out at night and glow bright blue under a UV flashlight, a fun little adventure for the whole family.

Don't worry, they rarely sting. Grab a UV light after dark and see what you can find!

🌋 Did you know Mud Volcano sits at the south end of Hayden Valley?

It's one of the strangest smelling stops in the whole park, thanks to the sulfur gas bubbling up from deep underground. Not a volcano in the traditional sense, but definitely worth the short stop if you're driving through Hayden Valley.
