Hello Fellow Democrat,

Please plan to join us on Tuesday, Sept 8, 2026 at 7:30 pm for our monthly meeting, which will be held at the Leonard Weisinger Community Center (6199 NW 10th St, Margate, FL 33063).

At the meeting, our State Senator Tina Polsky will be presenting on the proposed Florida Property Tax Amendment 3. If passed, this amendment would reduce the amount of property taxes that are collected in Florida. As a result, there would be a reduction in the services provided by towns, cities, and counties. Affected services would include law enforcement, fire protection, EMS, or other governmental services.

Additionally, Lauren Book, Democratic nominee for FL Senate District 30 will be attending our meeting. Both Coconut Creek and Margate are located in Senate District 30. As our nominee, I know that Lauren Book is excited to meet members and is looking forward to representing us in Tallahassee. Please plan to arrive early as she will be available to answer your questions.
