In observance of Juneteenth, The Children's Hunger Project office will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, achievements, and contributions of African Americans throughout our nation's history.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, learn, and celebrate the significance of this important day.

Our office will reopen during normal business hours on Monday, June 22.

A huge thank you to Puzzle Box Academy for spending time with us and helping pack food for local children!
Their energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to giving back made a meaningful impact on the nearly 5,000 children we serve throughout Brevard County. Every food package packed helps ensure a child has nutritious meals to enjoy over the weekend.
We're excited to share this reel from their visit and grateful for community partners who are helping us fight childhood hunger one package at a time. Thank you, Puzzle Box Academy, for making a difference and showing that even small hands can make a big impact!

While school may be out, hunger doesn't take a summer vacation.

Through our Summer Feed & Read Program, The Children's Hunger Project is helping nearly 2,000 children stay nourished and engaged by providing weekend food packages and brand-new books throughout the summer months.

With the support of our community and our partnership with United Way Space Coast, children across Brevard County can enjoy a summer filled with nutritious food, great books, and hope for the future.

We're celebrating the completion of our first week of Summer Feed & Read! 📚🍎

This week, local children received nutritious weekend food packages and brand-new books to help keep them nourished, learning, and thriving throughout the summer.

Thanks to our partnership with United Way Space Coast and the support of our incredible volunteers and donors, we're off to a great start serving more than 2,000 children this summer.
