The Cobleskill Fire Department Co****le League (CFDCCL) is coming! 🎯

We’re building a community-wide co****le league for EVERYONE — from the backyard tailgater who just picked up a bag to the seasoned amateur-pro who lives for the perfect airmail. 💪

🏆 Different skill levels. Different brackets. One great competition.

And yes… THERE WILL BE CASH ON THE LINE! 💰

💵 Weekly cash prizes will be awarded throughout the league, PLUS championship cash prizes for the winners of each skill class at the conclusion of the season!

This league is also an opportunity for our community to come out, have some fun, and get to know the volunteers who serve them.

Meet the men and women of the Cobleskill Fire Department, along with volunteers and other first responders from surrounding communities.

Come throw some bags, make some new friends, challenge your neighbors, and get to know the people who volunteer their time to help protect and serve our communities. 🚒❤️

And while we’re having fun, we’re also giving back.

A portion of the proceeds will go toward supporting the Cobleskill Fire Department and the work we do for our community.

Thank you to the Carlisle FD, CentralBridge FD, Middleburgh FD, SchoharieFD, Cobleskill EMS, County Fire Coordinators, County EMS, County Sheriffs Office, County Fire Investigation Team, New York State Police, and Cobleskill and Schoharie Auxiliaries for helping at the Caverns Rd fire yesterday. With the hot weather and time of day we are grateful for the mutual aid, assistance and support.

The Interior Firefighting Operations/SCBA – Firefighter 1 course finished up on Saturday May 16. Students completed 50 hours of training. Before taking this course, students had to complete the BEFO (Basic Exterior Firefighting Operations) course which is 79 hours. These courses are held two evenings a week and some Saturdays. We thank and congratulate the graduates.
The curriculum is developed and delivered by NYS DHSES Office of Fire Prevention and Control Fire Instructors. Schoharie County’s instructors are all local fire service veterans.
Supporting the hands on portions of the course held at the Schoharie County Fire Training Center were Schoharie County Office of Emergency Services EMS branch, as well as all of the fire departments who had students in the class and Central Bridge Fire Department who stepped up even though they had no students in the class. Departments provide their apparatus at each evolution.
A & M Towing and Recovery graciously provided the vehicles to burn for the vehicle fire evolution, as they have for many years.
