Meet the Instrument Night was a huge hit! 🎶💙

Last night at Radez Elementary, current 3rd and 4th grade students had the opportunity to explore the world of music by trying out each instrument in our band and orchestra to discover which might be the perfect fit.

A huge thank you to our high school musicians who volunteered their time to guide and teach our youngest students—you did an amazing job!

We also extend our gratitude to our dedicated music teachers and Friends of Music for their continued support in making this event possible. We can’t wait to see these future musicians grow! 🎵

If you haven't done so already, fill out the form below to let us know your child is interested in playing an instrument in September: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdfpZDdEH_uw2iZkcCJtgw70Qy-HJP2VMUcqz4VQOB0Ylwg2A/viewform?pli=1

This afternoon, C-RCS staff gathered to celebrate and honor Stan Hurban on his retirement after 23 years of dedicated service as a custodian.

C-RHS Principal Brett Barr shared, “Stan hasn’t just been dependable and reliable, he’s been that calm and steady presence throughout our school on a daily basis.”

Thank you for everything you’ve done for our schools, Stan. Wishing you all the best in your well-earned retirement! 💙🐾

Friendly Reminder that tomorrow, all four of our schools will be hosting Alex’s Lemonade Stand to raise money for childhood cancer research. Students can enjoy a lemonade and cookie with a $1 donation. 🍋

This year, our stands are held in memory of Troy Beilert, a beloved former C-RHS teacher. 💙

This marks the 16th year C-RCS has participated in Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation—thank you for helping us continue this meaningful tradition!

Congratulations to this week's PAWS winners at Ryder! 🐾 🎉

In 1st Grade, Emalyn continues to work hard and accept responsibility even when there is a substitute. Caleesi continues to have a positive attitude toward school and shows responsibility, as well as working hard. Carter has had a positive attitude and has worked very hard through this transition to Ms. Tessitore's classroom for ELA and Math. Mason comes in with a positive attitude each day, works hard, makes safe choices, and accepts responsibility. Plus, Mrs. Herron's class all received a PAWS award from Ms. Mary: while she was covering the classroom, she noticed students shared their snacks and crayons with kids that didn't have any. They all showed kindness and caring to their friends!

Plus, this week, we're honoring a couple of staff members for their own hard work and dedication!

Mrs. Hughes (not pictured) has been an amazing team player this year and has willingly stepped into the TSP classroom and has done a fantastic job. Plus, she does an incredible job organizing our PAWS awards for students every week!

Mrs. LaPointe is doing a wonderful job as our new Librarian. The kiddos love her and are excitied to come to the Library. She has settled in nicely in the short amount of time she has been here. She is a great addition to Ryder!

Great work, everyone! We're so proud of you! 💙
