The Environmental and Energy Technologies program provides students a diverse and balanced blend of scientific, technological, and applied practice and research learning experiences. The first two years of study focus on development of students’ analytical and critical thinking skills in science, mathematics and technology. This preparation provides a foundation for study during the third and four

th years focused on specific technologies in one of three program concentrations: Water Resources Management, Waste Management Technologies, and Renewable Energy Technologies. The emphasis of the program on application of scientific knowledge to management of key resources and their relevant technologies is consistent with the mission of SUNY Cobleskill that is centered on technical education.
