This is a precautionary notice resulting from the six-inch main break that occurred this morning at 7:40 on Glacier Drive east of Long Hollow and was fixed by the YSPUC field crew about 15:00 this afternoon.

Unfortunately, the field crew had to shut down all the wells along the Yosemite Springs Parkway (main road through the community) and closed all associated isolation valves in order to get a good shutoff of the water pressure in order to fix this leak. After this leak was fixed (about 15:00) the field crew started to bring the water system back online and this resulted in other leaks at various locations throughout the community. As the field crew attends to these other leaks water pressure has dropped at various locations due to elevations. For that reason we are providing this precautionary Boil Water Notice.

After we secure all the leaks we will initiate bacteriological sampling of the water to ensure its sanitary quality.

Again this is a precautionary notice, and the system pressures will be back to normal by midnight today, September 3, 2026.

Bottled water is provided at the HOA club house for drinking purposes. We will continue to post notifications on Facebook to inform you of the status of the water outages.

We thank you for your patience

7:45pm update
Road Closures
Due to damage caused by recent water main break and resulting erosion, the following roads are closed until further notice for the safety of residents and motorists:

Long Hollow Road from the Equestrian Center to Glacier Drive
Crystal Springs Court

Residents who live on Long Hollow Road should use Glacier Drive via Yosemite Springs Parkway as a detour to access their homes.

Residents who live on Crystals Springs Court should park along Crystal Springs Way or the first section of Crystal Springs Court.

Please do not drive the full court.

Please obey all posted road closure signs and use caution when traveling in the affected areas. Crews are actively assessing and repairing the damage, and updates will be provided as they become available.

No update yet on Corral/Mariposa crews are still out working.

Leak also on Ranger Circle, residents may experience no to low water pressure.

Please head over to the clubhouse if you need drinking water. We will be adding more volunteers to assist with distributing water. Please take no more than 4-16 ounce bottles per household member or take 1 gallon bottle per every two household members.
We will be evaluating water supply throughout the evening and determine if we need to order more tomorrow morning.

Customers may experience low water pressure or no water in the following areas:

• Along the Parkway south of Corral Drive (southeast of the lake) to the end of the Parkway
• Southeast of the Parkway, including Gracier Ct., Crystal Cave Cir., and surrounding side streets
• Other homes along the Parkway may experience low pressure because wells feeding the affected mainline have been shut down.

Then crews will then move to Running Deer or Titan/Stetson based on how the system is responding.

Crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as we continue to work through this situation.

Thank you for your patience.

6:33 pm update: FIXED!! starting to flush, please give the crews 30 minutes for the flushing to be finished.

6pm edit: another 1-2 hours for the fix

A crew is assembled to fix the leak on Glacier. They should be onsite within an hour and anticipated fix from that time is about 3 hours. All of Glacier will be out of water for about 3 hours. We’ll update when they are done.

Another staff member is checking on all the wells.

Please give a special shout out to these guys who worked through the night and are coming back on shift to address this.

YSPUC is aware of a new main break on Glacier. Crews worked until 4 AM and due to labor laws have to have a minimum of eight hours rest. We are looking into getting an outside crew under contract to perform this fix.

Homeowners on Glacier expect to be without water for 3 to 4 hours and we will update as soon as we have additional information.

Crews cannot be onsite until about 2pm even if we find contract labor.
