Tuesday evening update:

Following adjustments to the pressure reducing valves, the distribution system has stabilized, with no unforeseen incidents reported.

As of Noon, low pressure and water level issues have been resolved. Tank 1's water level is steady at 10 feet, with an expected increase anticipated this evening after additional filling.

Pending any significant developments, flushing operations are slated to commence after a morning update.

Field crews are prepared to address the remaining leaks. If you are still without water or lower pressure, please call the office at (559) 517-3799.

We have reports that John Muir and Horseshoe areas have very low to no water pressure. We want to let you know that we are aware of the situation and staff is working on resolving this. Thank you

Monday afternoon update:

Better news to report! Tank one is approaching the 8’ mark at this time. The plan is to continue to conserve especially in the Horseshoe area for this evening and levels will be checked in the morning to see if we can begin flushing.

Staff will be on call tonight and the complex task of adjusting the water pressure valves to push more water in that direction will continue.

Thank you for your cooperation in getting over this hurdle.

Monday morning update:

Tank one is filling up. Main break on Horseshoe is being repaired. Water overflow on Lilley is part of a pump sequencing and is normal. Water service should now be restored. Please call the office if you are still out of water.

We are not yet back to normal operation so until further notice, please do not flush lines yet.

Thank you

Sunday evening update from the General Manager:

Water is starting to increase in tank one. Crews are making some adjustments on some Cla-Valves in the Roaring River - Horseshoe area. Water levels were bouncing around a little bit in tank one, but he thinks they have got things leveled out.

He will have the crews test some pressures at hose bibs this evening. He feels that they have fixed the main issue. It's just going to take a long time to build up water level on tank one. We will plan an update tomorrow morning, May 18.

Thank you for you continued patience on the resolution of this event. Please continue to conserve water while the levels get restored and do no not flush until notified.

Sunday afternoon update from our General Manager:

We have a solution and Tank 1 is slowly filling about 0.5 inches per hour. Currently the tank sits at 4.25 ft and going up. Last night we pinched down the tank effluent valve to prevent the tank from going dry. When we get a couple of more feet in this tank we will open this valve more. Still customers are going to be without water or very little water around these areas.
Roaring River, Horse Shoe, John Muir, and upper Lilley Mt. Dr. above booster pump station 3E.
The field crew is monitoring the system and will continue to be present.

Sunday Update:

Crews are on site continuing to stabilize tank 1 on Lilley.
Additional crew is also locating several small leaks in the area of John Muir to see if there is a larger leak below that may or may not affect tank 1.

We do not have an estimate of restoration time, but please be assured that all team members are addressing it.

We do have reports of some brown water related to this issue that was caused by starting up the Summer tanks, but we are not currently flushing hydrants yet due to the current situation. We ask that residents do not flush until the issue is rectified. Further instructions will follow.

Saturday night update

Tank one is losing about 1 foot/water per hour and will potentially run out of water tonight. We are asking for aggressive water conservation at this time.

More to come in the morning, but please use waters as sparingly as possible until tomorrow’s update.

05/16/2026

We are asking homeowners on Lilley Mountain to conserve water until further notice as crews are working on a leak. Thank you
