In December, we held our annual Christmas box distribution. Recipients could choose from either a ham or turkey. Also included were the fixings to make a delicious Christmas dinner.

In all, on that day, we were able to help 86 families!!!!

We would like to extend a HUGE APPRECIATIVE THANK YOU to Andy Womack and Operation St Nick for VERY GRACIOUSLY providing the funds to purchase the boxes. We are sincerely grateful!!!

Additionally, to ALL of the INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS from Coal City Food Pantry and Hexagon Real Estate who selflessly gave of their valuable time and effort to assist with this endeavor, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!! Your assistance was INVALUABLE in making this event such a BIG SUCCESS!!!

Recently, local Scout troops held their annual food drive.

All groceries received during this event were VERY KINDLY AND GRACIOUSLY donated to our pantry! In total, we received 13, 495 lbs of usable items!!!!! We are SO VERY GRATEFUL!!!

We would like to extend our SINCERE GRATITUDE to all of the Scouts and Mr Ted Joyce for efficiently organizing and bringing this endeavor to fruition. We APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU!!!

A HUGE THANK YOU to ANY AND ALL volunteers, who gave SO GENEROUSLY of their time and effort to unpack, sort, and stock all groceries received, over a period of 3-4 days. Among these AMAZING individuals were employees of Exxon Mobil, local church members, and several friends and neighbors. WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!!

And our SINCERE and HUMBLE gratitude and appreciation to all members of the surrounding communities who BENEVOLENTLY and EXTREMELY GENEROUSLY donated items to this cause. Please accept our MANY THANKS!!!

We are SO VERY BLESSED, FORTUNATE and THANKFUL!!!

In order to better accommodate individuals who are unable to visit our pantry during regular business hours on weekdays, we will be open on Saturdays, from 11-1 p.m., on the following dates:

October 18, November 15, and December 20.

This will be on a trial basis until, or unless otherwise noted.
