Maggie needs rescue, but AHF can only take her if she has a foster or foster-to-adopt home to go to. Maggie wants to know if she can crash at your place for a while!

Maggie is 6 years old. She's a bit overweight but should be about 60 lbs. She is currently at a shelter in a rural area where are adoptions are extremely slow...practically non-existent. Even though she's an awesome dog, she has been waiting an entire year for someone to give her a home. She is good with adults, children, other dogs, and even cats! She is a pretty chill girl who just wants love. She is healthy, already spayed, and more than ready to be in a home again. Maggie will bring joy to whomever takes her in!

Apollo and Zeus are this week's

These 2 boys were surrendered to in pretty terrible shape back in the Spring. Like many danes/dogs, they did NOT do well in the shelter environment. They were absolutely terrified, shut down and defeated. They would lay together on one cot and just tremble in fear.

ADOPTED!!

Introducing Kahlua, a six month old Aussie/Shepherd mix that was recently surrendered to our facility. Unfortunately, the owners were homeless and weren't able to find homes for their dogs' accidental litter. Kahlua is pretty vocal and has lots of personality. She has no problem talking back to you and can be stubborn at times. She loves toys and enjoys chasing after squeaker or soft, plush toys. She does great with other dogs and would love to have a buddy at home with her. She also didn't seem to mind cats. Kahlua will need a patient family that will take her training seriously. She is ready for the full boot camp and her new family should be ready for the ups and downs of puppyhood! Beckee's owner surrendered her because she had too many dogs and could not care for them all. AHF would love to get Beckee out of the shelter, but she needs a home to go to. Can you help?

Beckee is 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. She is a happy girl and very affectionate. She loves to give you her paw. Beckee is great with people of all ages and is kid-friendly. She's also great with other dogs. She has good leash manners. Beckee will make a great foster or forever dog if given the opportunity!
