The Clyde Fire Department would like to send out a huge thank-you to the Clyde VFW 3343 ladies auxiliary for the multiple pizzas that they provided to our guys before our department monthly training. Very much appreciated!!

For our training tonight, multiple training sessions were going on. Pump operations (drafting) at one of our dry hydrants near Memory Marina. Something that doesn’t get done often, so a little refresher is always good.

Back in town at our training facility, the rest of our crew practiced hose evolutions working as teams maneuvering charged hose lines through various obstacles.

Here are a few photos from Story Time with Clyde Fire Department hosted by the Clyde Public Library. Several members of our Department take a truck to the library and read a story to local children and get them to interact with some of our firefighters.

Thanks to our firefighters who make this happen. Pictured reading the story is Firefighter Tyler Tea, and he was assisted by Firefighters Denny Shock and Joe Kerlin.

The next reading session will be Tuesday, July 15th at 6pm.
