To all those rushing to make posts accusing this town of being racist because you saw something on social media, here are the facts you need to know before jumping on the bandwagon.

The dump is actually located in Canton, not Clyde, it just says Clyde because that is the Post Office that delivers on that road. It is about 1/8 mile outside the Canton limits and many miles from Clyde.

It is a private dump, not a government run facility. The town and county have nothing to do with it.

The facility is run by a construction company out of Tennessee that came to run it to handle debris from Hurricane Helene, not by a local company.

Take a few moments to learn some facts before jumping to conclusions and labeling a town as racist or anything else just because you see something on social media. That horrible video was not filmed in Clyde and has nothing to do with the people or government in this town.
