We are so excited to announce that Clyde Public Library is working with Connecting Meals with Kids for our 2026 Summer Reading Program. Every Monday - Thursday, throughout June and July, ALL kids (ages 18 and under) will be able to eat a FREE lunch at the library. 🥕🍎🥪🥛

REMINDER FOR MAY 30: The library will not open until 12pm after our Kick-Off Party. The party ends at noon so there may be a delay in access to the parking lot a little after noon. We appreciate your patience. Also George Street will be closed from Buckeye to Forest Street for our party.

Hold on to something, because we don't think you're ready for everything we have planned for Summer Reading 2026!! 🦖🦕📖

Not only will we still be hosting our regularly scheduled programs, such as Tai Chi, Yoga, and SPLAT, we will also have SO MANY fun and free new programs each week!

Every Wednesday at 11am and 2pm, a Summer Reading story time for kids will be offered. Pick one or the other to hear some stories and songs and make a fun themed craft. 📖🖍️✂️

Week One:
Thursday, June 4th at 11:00 am - Our first official Children's Summer Reading Program will be our local heroes visiting with a firetruck in the parking lot! Kids can come hear a story and get a chance to sit inside a fire truck. 🚒

Thursday, June 4th at 5:15 pm - After the Thursday meeting of SPLAT, teens are invited to stay for our monthly meeting of Pokecon. 🌱

Teen Summer Reading is proud to host the Toledo Zoo on Thursday, June 11 from 10 - 11 am. Registration is requested by calling the library or signing up on our website.
