City Hall will be closed tomorrow Tuesday June 9th so employees can attend Larry Dale Washer's funeral. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers as we navigate life without him. You can put payments in the drop box and we will extend due date if the water bills to the 11th.

It is with great sadness that we inform everyone of the passing of Larry Dale Washer. Larry was a hard worker and was fiercely dedicated to serving the City of Cloverport.

Larry was a proud father, grandfather, and friend to all. Everyone in Cloverport appreciated his efforts and he will be greatly missed in Cloverport’s Public Works Department and City Hall.

The City of Cloverport asks everyone to keep Larry’s family, friends, and his work family in your thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

Do to an unforeseen circumstance the out of town trash route will not run today.

During a Special Called Meeting of the Cloverport City Council on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. The council voted to approved to amend the FY 25-26 budget to purchase a new vehicle for Public Works.

However, it was later discovered that the city would have needed to request bids for a vehicle in that price range. Due to the time sensitivity of rebates for the vehicle approved, the price would have substantially increased once the bid period ended.

At this time there are no immediate plans on amending the FY 25-26 budget again to purchase a vehicle.

City Stickers are now on sale at City Hall. They are 20.00 until June 30th and then will go up to 25.00.
