Food insecurity has risen apx. 27 percent since 2020- and I want that to stop! As the Library Director here at the beautiful Michael Nivison Library in Cloudcroft , I started a food/warm clothing drive again this year-- yes, in the foyer of the library.

Why here you ask? Items can be taken without being seen, as many people have commented they feel embarrassed to take things if people are around. That sorrows me as we all need help on occasion. And the Library is YOUR community place- we deeply care about everyone.
So I went through my pantry and closet, and found some things. Another person (thank you MK) brought in some children's shoes. Another person came in unseen and brought some health food items. And yes, things have already been taken- the need is real.
So if you need something- come on by! If you have unused food/warm clothing, bring it to the table by the side front door.
Together we are Cloudcroft Strong
