The Outdoor Warning Sirens across Polk County will be tested on Saturday, September 5th at noon. These sirens are intended to alert people who are outdoors. If you notice any issues or a siren does not operate correctly, please contact [email protected].

Last week we hosted our 2026 Youth Fire Academy. Kids got small glimpse of what a day in the life of a Clive Firefighter is like. They learned important fire safety tips, lifesaving first aid/CPR skills, and firefighting skills.

They then got to go put their skills to the test in our training tower where they performed drills just like we do on a regular basis. They advanced a hose line and searched a room for victims.

We hope everyone had a great day, I know we did!
