Your generosity, dedication, and heart for this community truly made a difference for our foster and resource families. Because of your support, we are able to continue providing for the children and families who need us most.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to our resource parents, volunteers, and workers who contributed to the construction of the float, provided the necessary vehicle and trailer, and dedicated their time and effort to create an exceptional float for the Haysi and Clintwood Parade. The float earned a second-place distinction in the Clintwood Parade. We hope everyone enjoyed the experience and had a wonderful time. Once again, we thank everyone who made this achievement possible.

🍁🎄 The Dickenson County Resource Foster Family Department celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Adoption Awareness Month today with our foster families!

We also hosted an in-service training on Secondary Trauma for Foster Parents, led by Heather Lynch and Kim Carroll from Propel Counseling — thank you both for sharing your knowledge and encouragement! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible foster parents for opening your hearts and homes to children in need. We appreciate everything you do, and we loved spending the day learning and celebrating together! 💛
