On Friday, our middle schoolers took their social skills to the next level during our CMS Field Day! From friendly competitions to collaborative challenges, they broke down grade-level barriers and built bridges with students across all grades! The day was filled with team chants, lots of laughter, and memories were made that will last a lifetime. Shout-out to Ms. Carmody for capturing the smiles throughout the day!
Events: Guess That Tune, Brain Benders, Pictionary, Tug of War, Bean Bag Toss, Potato Sack Races, Water Balloon Toss, Relay Races and Four Corners.

8th graders wrote science fiction short stories 3rd quarter, and those that wished to have a printed copy put in some extra effort to get them ready for the printer! Great job to all the 8th graders! To those that are bringing a printed version home, hopefully your family enjoys reading them as well!!!

We may not have had a snow day today, but 6th Grade CA classes had a "snowball fight" during writing today! Students wrote a story and then threw it and got a new one to continue! ❄️ 📝 (the tiny white blobs are students’ papers ☺️)

Yesterday, Ms. Carmody’s 8th graders were challenged with writing a love story - good, bad, and some even ended ugly! After the timer went off, they read their stories to their classmates. The winner of each class won a Crush Orange Soda! Fun was had by all as their creativity came through their story.
