NOVEMBER 10, 2016: EFFECTIVE TODAY the boil water advisory alert has been lifted! You NO LONGER need to boil your water. Thank you for your patience while we repaired the pipe. You can STOP boiling your water.

11/05/2016

The water pipe has been repaired; however, you will have extremely low water pressure until the tower has time to recuperate. You will experience air in your lines for a little bit and your incoming water will most likely be rusty. Please remember YOU MUST BOIL YOUR WATER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Again, we apologize for this most unexpected inconvenience.

11/05/2016

Our water tower is completely empty due to a pipe that burst in the water plant. We are trying to get this fixed as aggressively as possible. As you start to get water, please be aware that you will need to BOIL IT until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience and please be as patient as possible while your water services are restored.

EMERGENGY SITUATION ... Clintonville Water Authority is aware that have no water right now. Our operator is on his way to the plant. I will update as soon as he contacts me to let me know what is going on. Please be patient and I apologize for the inconvenience.

---DROUGHT WARNING/DROUGHT WATCH DECLARED---

Dear Public Water Supplier:

We are writing to inform you about the drought declaration DEP Acting Secretary Patrick McDonnell announced on August 2, 2016, on behalf of Governor Tom Wolf. The following is the list of counties under a drought declaration:

Drought Watch

Armstrong, Bedford, Berks, Blair, Bradford, Cameron, Carbon, Center, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Dauphin, Elk, Forest, Fulton, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Lawrence, Lebanon, Lehigh, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer , Mifflin, Northampton, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, Union and VENANGO.

The declarations are in response to low stream flows, declining groundwater levels and below-normal precipitation primarily across counties in the upper half and south-central portions of Pennsylvania. Remember, in a drought watch, we should all be seeking to reduce water use by about 5 percent through voluntary conservation measures. During a warning, our goal is 10-15 percent reductions, still through voluntary measures.
