Join the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection at the Empty Sky Memorial in Liberty State Park on Thursday, Sept. 10, for a commemoration honoring the lives of those with New Jersey connections who were lost in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. The Empty Sky Memorial is New Jersey’s official 9/11 memorial.

⏰ Time: 3 p.m.

Remarks honoring those lost will be delivered by Acting Environmental Protection Commissioner Ed Potosnak, along with other state and local officials, representatives of the First Responders Children’s Foundation and other guests. The ceremony will be emceed by 1010 WINS reporter Glenn Schuck.

The ceremony also will include musical performances, a presentation of colors and the retirement of New Jersey State Park Police badge No. 911.

Free parking will be available to attendees in Parking Lot 8, also known as the Ferry Parking Lot.

Scenes from Gateway Forward!
GATEWAY FORWARD a Team Building exercise/training and the opportunity to recognize our Founder and CEO Albert B. Kelly was held on Monday, August 31 at Liberty Lake Day Camp in Bordentown, NJ. Gateway employees learned about the priorities for our new President, Ed Bethea, CCAP; available services through the Gateway Wellness Center; and a new benefit and IT platform Gateway will be offering. The Gateway Choir stole the show in honoring Mr. Kelly; and staff longevity/achievements were celebrated before all enjoyed a great lunch and the amenities of LLDC. Thank you Gateway, our event volunteers and the planning committee for a great event!
