If the walls of this 1860s era home could talk.... and in a way, they can. Through careful preservation and captivating exhibits we have managed to capture the amazing history, stories, and memories of Hickman County. This allows us to stay true to the social history of our county, preserve local memorabilia, and still give a fascinating picture of changing times.

Do you have an ancestor you would like us to shine a spot light for? They don't have to be military, it can be anyone that has been part of shaping Hickman County, from every day stories, to the most unbelievable! And of course, we will also accept military posts.

Simply submit a photo to us (if you have one), and the information you would like shared. We'll package it in a beautiful flyer and share it here. Let's celebrate America 250!

Thanks to generous food donations from Billy’s Barbecue, Greg’s, and Walmart (plus individual cash donors) we were able to clear a little over $1000 at our July 28 fundraiser…Our essential operating expenses for about a month and a half. Much gratitude to all who attended!
