🔥 Controlled Burn Notice – Clinton Fire Department 🔥

The Clinton Fire Department will be conducting a controlled burn at the Clinton pond today. This is a planned training exercise designed to help our crews maintain readiness and improve response skills.

Residents in the surrounding area may notice smoke and fire apparatus on scene. Please do not be alarmed—this activity is being closely monitored and conducted under safe conditions.

We kindly ask the public to avoid the area during this time to allow crews to operate safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Don't forget with the recent time change when you spring forward, take a few minutes to check your smoke alarms too.

🔥 Replace the batteries in all smoke detectors.
🔥 Test each alarm to make sure it’s working.
🔥 Vacuum or dust around the detector to keep it clear.
🔥 Make sure there’s a smoke alarm in every bedroom, outside sleeping areas, and on every level of your home.

Working smoke alarms cut the risk of dying in a home fire in half. It only takes a few minutes to help protect your family all year long.

🧯 Change your clocks. Change your batteries. Save lives.

Captain Powers worked incredibly hard to earn his Supervising Fire Officer designation, which was recognized at City Council last week.

We are fortunate to have him as part of our leadership team. Captain Powers leads by example and truly embodies the mindset to always advance.
