East Feliciana Assessor's Office

East Feliciana Assessor's Office The laws governing property assessments are set up by the Louisiana Legislature. All millages are voted on by the residents of East Feliciana Parish.

***The East Feliciana Assessor's Office created this page not for political reasons but to inform our residents of current events of this office and the community.***

The job of the Assessor and staff is to maintain the property assessment system in a way that is equitable, fair, and uniform. The guidelines for assessors to follow are formulated and administered by the Louisiana Tax Commission.

All property taxes are calculated by using the assessed value of a piece of property and the current millage rate for that particular area.

We would also like to thank Marty Engquist, Leroy Harvey, Emily Jane Jones and all other volunteers for lending their time to this mission. We appreciate your hard work to keep East Feliciana beautiful!
