Saturday August 29th will be our final Farmers' Market Food Demonstration of the 2026 season! Despite the heat, we will be preparing for (and looking forward to) some cooler weather by making some chili with a nutritious spin and good classic cast iron cornbread! We will be monitoring the heat and weather and will adjust if the weather is too hot. Samples will be provided while they last. Look forward to seeing everyone!

Attention Homemakers!! Hickman County's Cultural Arts Day is Friday August 28th at the Hickman County Cooperative Extension Service. Drop off starts at 8am and goes until noon. If you are unable to come that day you can call Mike at 270-653-2231 to set up an early drop off. Judging will be done that afternoon and those that move on to the Area contest will be posted. If you have made something in the past 2 years but not submitted it this is your chance! Come fill our meeting room with exhibits and show off our Hickman County pride!

Don't forget! This Saturday we will be at the Hickman County Farmers Market for our live demonstration making Cheesy Potato Hash! As always, the demonstration will start at 9:30am and samples will be available while they last!
