Voyage Academy Voyage Academy is an Expeditionary Learning School located in Clinton, Utah. Serving Grades K-6

Voyage Academy opened in the Fall of 2013 and offers a style of teaching known as Expeditionary Learning. This approach involves hands on experience by taking the child outside of the classroom to learn. Students participate in semester long studies called expeditions that will teach them in depth information about a topic as well as meet the State core curriculum requirements. EL also teaches st

udents team work skills by working in daily groups called "Crews" It is in these Crews that students are encouraged by their fellow peers to compete, not against each other but, against their best selves in achieving their greatest results. One of our very own received a Hometown Hero Award! ❤️

Modern Woodmen came to our Back-to-School meeting and presented Nerisa with this special award for not only everything she does for Voyage Academy, but also for all she does in our community.

Nerisa gives so much of her time, energy, and heart to others, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our Voyage family. This recognition is so well deserved!

We had such an incredible visit with Ryan Stream! Our Hope Squad and Student Council had the opportunity to spend time with Ryan and hear his powerful story of resilience, perseverance, and choosing to turn hard experiences into purpose.

Ryan’s life has taken him from foster care and homelessness to serving as a two-time U.S. Army combat veteran, becoming a motivational speaker, bestselling author, and award-winning musician. He has faced some incredibly difficult seasons, but he uses those experiences to encourage others to believe that where you start does not have to determine where you end.

Ryan connected with our students through real stories, humor, music, and an incredible amount of energy. His message was a great reminder that we all have the ability to make choices that can change the direction of our story.

And if you haven’t heard his music yet, go give Ryan Stream a listen! He combines country, rap, and piano in a way that is completely unique. He is seriously talented!

The halls and classrooms are filled with happy faces, new friendships, big smiles, and just a little bit of first-day-of-school excitement!
Our Vikings are settling in, our teachers are doing what they do best, and the school is already feeling like home. 💙🎒📘

Ms. Starke made this hilarious reel while packing up her classroom, and we are SO excited because we’re finally getting to the good part! 🎉

Our teachers are busy putting their classrooms back together after the big move, and let’s just say… it hasn’t been quite as magical as the reels make it look. 😂📦
But behind all the boxes, rearranging, organizing, and unpacking, something pretty special is happening. Our teachers are creating the magic in their classrooms as they prepare welcoming spaces for your kiddos.
