Candidate ballot positions were drawn today (June 4) at 2:00pm for Clinton Mayor, Clinton City Council, and Columbus City Council, below are the results showing the order that candidates will appear on the ballot on November 3, 2026.

On Thursday June 4th, 2026 at 2:00pm Hickman County Clerks Office will hold a public drawing for ballot positions for the 2026 General Election. This will include the offices for Clinton Mayor, Clinton City Council, Columbus City Council. Candidates are welcome to attend but do not have to be present. Drawing order will be posted following the public draw.

🇺🇸🗳️Below is the Hickman County Ballot for all races in the May 19th Primary Election.

Please keep in mind these important things:

🔴 Candidates in uncontested races will not appear on the ballot until the General Election in November.

🔴 Kentucky is a closed primary state. You can only vote for candidates that are the same party as you.
Democrats can only vote for Democrats.
Republicans can only vote for Republicans.

🔴 This is a ballot composite for the entire county. As a voter, you will only be able to vote for the district races according to the district you live in.

🔴 Deadline to register to vote is April 20th, 2026. You can register online at govote.ky.gov or in our office.

🔴Absentee ballots can be requested from April 4 - May 5 online at govote.ky.gov or by calling our office.

🔴If you change/changed your party affiliation after the Dec 31, 2025 deadline; you are ineligible to vote in the Primary Election
