FIREFLY WALK!!
I’ve scheduled a Firefly Walk for Friday, July 24th starting at 8:15pm in Clinton!

This is conducted by the Hunterdon County Parks Commission and a naturalist will take us on a short, guided, nature walk and discussion at the Landsdown Trail. The walk starts at 8:15pm and lasts about an hour (a half hour in and a half hour out). They don't want regular flashlights, only the ones with the red beam. If you don't have one, and why would you, I have quite a few I am happy to lend out. The cost by the Parks Commission for this adventure is $2 per person (the fee is $40 total) and it is adults only. We are limited to 20 people.

I'll collect the $2 cash when you arrive. They frown on bug repellent (wonder why) so if you need it, put on a little before you get there. I'll have some if you forget. My office is at Weichert at the mouth of Landsdown Trail and will be available for bathroom use.
