It’s great to see our firefighters receive a little national attention. As a volunteer firefighter you understand that although you’re not paid or working in a big city, you face the same challenges and danger any career firefighter does, just not as frequently. Our firefighters risk their own to help people for absolutely no pay. Love to see them get some recognition nationally.

🚨 Community Reminder from Clifton Fire Department 🚨

When an emergency call comes in, our firefighters respond from home, work, or wherever they may be to get to the station as quickly as possible. Many of them respond in their personal vehicles equipped with red emergency dash lights and flashers.

We have recently received a few complaints regarding firefighters responding to the station. We understand that seeing a personal vehicle with emergency lights can sometimes be confusing. However, these firefighters are trying to reach the station quickly so that we can get our fire trucks and rescue equipment on the road to help someone in need.

We kindly ask our community to please watch for and safely yield to these responding firefighters whenever possible. Pulling over and allowing them to pass helps them reach the station faster so we can respond to emergencies more quickly.

Remember, when we are responding to an emergency, every second truly matters. Your cooperation could help us get to someone in need just a little faster.

We appreciate the continued support from our community and thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.

We will be at the Morenci Plaza today from 10am-1pm selling selling burgers to help the Baber Family. Please come out and show your support for their strong little girl Laynee.

We are in need of some more community support. We would like to help out the Baber family and their amazing, strong baby Laynee. Laynee has fought for her life and thankfully was the donor of a heart and has been through a heart transplant. She has a long road ahead and she deserves all the help we can give her and her family. Please come out and support. We will do a burger fry Oct 22nd from 10am-1pm. Pre orders can be made the day before. Please come out and show your amazing support like usual. Thank you in advance.
