Earlier today, the water treatment plant conducted brief hydraulic testing that caused higher-than-normal water velocities in our main transmission line. This stirred up naturally occurring sediment that can build up inside water mains over time, resulting in temporary discoloration. The water remains safe to use, and the discoloration should clear as the system returns to normal. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
