We just finished the last summer reading program for this summer. The library hosted Katy Williams who came and presented to the children how to make dinosaur food, read books on dinosaur, took the children on a dinosaur hunt and much, much, more. A fantastic time was had by the 27 children present. We will look forward and begin planning next years programs. A big THANK YOU goes out to Melissa Christiansen and Nancy Siimpson for volunteering their time to help out this summer to make our programs successful! We could not make this happen without them!

The library had another summer reading program today. Beth Fry presented a program "Unearthing a story in song". She spoke about the history of music and had the children participate with all kinds of musical instruments and they played and sung songs. The snack for the day was ice cream drumsticks. Next Monday, July 6 will be our final program for the summer. We will be hosting Katy Williams and the plan is to make dinosaur food. What will it be? Come join the fun!

The library hosted "cool school with Ms. Maria" for today's summer reading program. Ms. Maria unearth a story about dinosaurs. She was dressed as a whimsical pink dinosaur as she shared facts and information about dinosaurs using music puppets, songs, dance, and more. For our snack today we had dinosaur cookies! Come join in the fun at the library. Our next program will be June 29th at 10 am.
