CAPTAIN Community Human Services seeks to uphold the dignity of each person by serving the basic needs of those struggling in the community that surrounds us. Our over thirty programs and services protect and nurture children and youth, strengthen families, connect seniors, resolve crises, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, support the emotionally challenged, and empower all of our community members to build a brighter future for themselves and their neighbors.

We’re extremely proud and excited to accept a Community Grant from the Foundation in the amount of $20,000 to ensure the next generation has the tools needed to succeed in higher education and beyond. Earlier this week, we organized two storage units with the help of two amazing volunteers from Walmart. Thanks to everyone's hard work, both units are now clean, organized, and ready to go. We couldn't be happier with the results. We even took a few moments to enjoy some of the unique props we found in the Treasures storage unit. Thank you to our Walmart volunteers for helping make this project a success!

Shouting a huge thank you to Mohawk Honda and Chevrolet! They recently held a Hygiene Dignity Drive for our Food Pantry! Some of their staff members attended a tour of our facilities and wanted to help after learning that essential hygiene products, such as soap and deodorant, are not covered by SNAP benefits. Thank you Mohawk Honda and Mohawk Chevrolet! Interested in helping out? Donations for the pantry can be dropped off at 5 Municipal Plaza, Suite 3 in Clifton Park.
