🗣 Exciting Changes Coming to Gordy Park! 🗣

The skate park at Gordy Park will be temporarily closed as we prepare for NEW skate park equipment! 🎉

Beginning tomorrow, our Public Works Department will start removing the existing equipment to make way for the upgrades.

We’re excited to bring something new to the park and can’t wait to share more details with you soon!

🚧 Executive Club Paving 🚧

Paving is scheduled in Executive Club on Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11, from the current transition near the shop to the first speed bump.

A single-lane closure will be in place each day, with traffic control assisting motorists through the work area.

Please use caution and allow crews plenty of room to work.

🚧 Reminder: Road Work & Maintenance Today 🚧

Several projects are taking place around Delmar today, Tuesday, September 8:

🔹 3rd Street Paving – Paving is underway on 3rd Street from Walnut Street to Chestnut Street.

🔹 E. East Street Road Closure – The 600 block of E. East Street will be closed for sinkhole excavation and necessary repairs.

🌳 State Street Park Closed – The park is closed while crews perform tree maintenance, including trimming and removing dead and decaying trees.

Please use caution around work areas, follow posted traffic controls, and allow crews plenty of room to work.

The 600 block of E. East Street will be closed on Tuesday, September 8, while a contractor performs excavation and necessary repairs related to a sinkhole.

Please plan accordingly and use an alternate route while work is underway.

State Street Park will be closed Tuesday, September 8 through Friday, September 11 while crews perform tree maintenance, including trimming and removing dead and decaying trees.

For everyone’s safety, please avoid the park while crews are working.

📅 Labor Day is coming! Seagull Disposal will be closed Monday, September 7, and routes will move back one day for the remainder of the week.
