On 5/9/2026 at 23:21 hours the company was dispatched to 637 Beechwood Ave in Collingdale Borough for a reported building fire with subjects trapped, Engine 3 responded with 3 shortly after dispatch. Engine 3 arrived as the second due engine company securing their own water supply and stretching a back up line to the rear of the property. Engine 3 assisted with fire suppression in the main fire building. All searches were negative, all occupants of the fire building and exposure were able to evacuate prior to fire company’s arrival. Deputy 33 held the Collingdale Borough Command.

At 1513 hours today companies 33,3,4&5 were dispatched to 1007 Broad Street in Collingdale Borough for a reported building fire. Quint 3 with a crew of 3 responded immediately after dispatch, while Enroute Quint 3 advised they had a “header” from Springfield Rd and Broadway Ave, at the same time the police were reporting 2 houses on fire. Quint 3 arrived as the first due truck and reported “ 2, 2 story twins with fire showing from the first floors of the Alpha Side”. Quint 3’s crew performed primary searches, as well as opening up for the engine company. Engine 3 also made the response on the working fire dispatch. In total company 3 operated on scene for approximately 3 hours before being released by collingdale command.

Every second you save firefighters by clearing a fire hydrant after the snow is a second that goes towards saving life and property. Be a hydrant hero during the impending winter storm and clear 3' around fire hydrants to allow us to work quickly and efficiently.

On 2/16/2026 @0003 hours, company 3 was dispatched to 47 W Lacross Ave in Lansdowne Fire Company local for a reported building fire. Squad 3 with 6 (LT. Murphy) volunteer members responded immediately after dispatch. Squad 3 arrived as the second due engine and secured Engine 19’s water supply as well as assisting in searches, fire suppression, and overhaul. Due to the quick and efficient response of all companies, the fire was held in check on the exterior wall with minimal extension into the first and second floors.

On Wednesday December 31st, 2025 @ 2:44pm companies 33 Collingdale Fire Company - Station 33, 4 Darby Fire Co. # 1 Station 4, 3, and 5 Glenolden Fire Company Station 5 were dispatched to 1220 MacDade Blvd, in Collingdale borough, for a reported building fire. Quint 3 W/4 (LT. Murphy) responded within 3 minutes of dispatch and arrived on location as the first due truck company. Quint 3 assisted with fire suppression, primary searches and overhaul. Chief 3 held the MacDade Blvd command.
